Guest Lectures

Christian Communities in Iraq through the Gulf War 1991”, “Ecumenism in the U.S.A.
with special emphasis on the Oriental Orthodox Churches” respectively in the seminary on 3rd February 2014.

A group of professors in theology from Germany visited our Theological Seminary
A team of Professors visited Malankara Syrian Orthodox Theological Seminary, Vettickal, Mulanthuruthy on 3rd February 2014. The team included Metropolitan Daniel Metawos (Coptic Orthodox Church, Australia)Univ. Prof. Dr. Dietmar W. Winkler (Professor of Patristic Studies and Church History at the University of Salzburg, Austria) Rev. Dr. Ronald G. Roberson (Director, The Secretariate for Ecumenical and Inter-religious Affairs, St. Paul’s College, Washington, U.S.A.) Rev. Dr. Columba Steward (Director, Hill Museum & Manuscript Library, St. John’s University, MN. U.S.A) The team was received by Dr. Mor Theophilus Kuriakose, Resident Metropolitan of M.S.O.T. Seminary, Dr. Mor Anthimos Matthews and Very Rev. Dr. Adai Jacob Corepiscopa, Principal of the Seminary. Discussions were held about the possibilities for eccuminical relationship with Christian Churches.
