Consecration of HE. Mor Themothiose Mathews Metropolitan

His Beatitude visits Holland.

Amsterdam : His Beatitude Aboon Mor Basalious Thomas 1, Catholicose, arrived at Amsterdam in Holland, on 18th October 2012 on a visit. H.B. was accorded a hearty welcome by H.G. Dr. Mor Polycarpus Augin Metropolitan, the Arch Bishop of Holland, H.G. Dr. Mor Theophilose Kuriakose Metropolitan, the Patrirchal Vicar of the Malankara Congregations in Middle Europe, Very. Rev. Dr. Adai Jacob Cor-episcopos, Very. Rev. Saliba Ramban, Very. Rev. Yuhanon Ramban, several priests and by the innumerable faithful of the Syrian Orthodox Church , Holland.

On the 19th evening H.B. was welcomed on an exuberant and outpouring note by the Malayalee congregation in Amsterdam and had bestowed blessings and graces upon the gathered faithful while conducting a special prayer meeting for them. On the following day, H.B. attended the Holy Qurbono , celebrated for the Children and Youth at the St. Mary's Syrian Orthodox Church in Amsterdam and blessed the little ones. In the evening, a grand reception was arranged for H.B. in the Mor Sharbil Syrian Orthodox Chruch in Amsterdam accompanied by the soul-stirring musical performances by the Malayalee & Syrian choir groups. On Sunday the 21st Oct. H.B celebrated Holy Qurbono at St. Mary's Syrian Orthodox Church in Amsterdam, one of the most beautiful and ancient churches in the city of Amsterdam. As a mark of honour and an expression of their deepfelt affection towards H.B., the parishioners also had arranged a grand banquet on the occasion.
From Monday the 22nd onwards, H.B will be staying at the St. Ephem Monastery in Losser, Holland. This monastery is the residence of the Arch Bishop of Holland and the place where the Tomb of the late lamented Arch Bishop of Europe H.E. Mor Julis Jesus Cicek has been erected. During the week H.B. will be pleased to visit the different parishes in Holland and on Sunday the 28th Oct. H.B. will celebrate Holy Qurbono at the Cathedral Church in Losser , in commemoration of the 7th anniversary of the sad demise of H.E. Mor Julius Yesu Cicek Metropolitan.
Trusting in the abounding mercy of our Lord, H.B hopes to return to India on 29th of October.

During these visits, His Beatitude remains accompanied by H.G. Dr. Mor Policarpus Augin Metropolitan of Holland, H.G. Dr. Mor Theophilose Kuriakose Metropolitan, Very. Dr. Adai Jacob Cor-episcopos, Rev. Fr.Eldhose Vattaparambil, Rev. Dn. Ebin Elias, Clergy and by the dynamic, devoted leaders of the church.

Eco Club - Plantation Programme Inauguration

H.H. Moran's 32nd Year of the Patriarchal Enthronement Anniversary

Dear Friends,

On this Holy day of Sleeba Perunnaal (Feast of Holy Cross), The Patriarch of Antioch & All the East of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church His Holiness Moron Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas is completing the 32nd year of the Patriarchal enthronement, i.e. on 14th September 2012.

His Holiness is the 122nd Canonical Patriarch in the lineage of Patriarchs on the Apostolic throne of St. Peter. On behalf of all seminary students and well wishers, we extent our sincere good wishes to the Patriarch on this glorious occasion. We pray God Almighty to shower HIS abundant blessings on our Patriarch, during the years to come.

May God the Almighty be kind enough to keep our Moran in Good health to rule and lead us wisely in the years to come, guide the Church and it's children in the right path, the path shown to us by Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Disciples and Apostles.

We thank God from the bottom of our heart for giving us this most Noble Moran, who has always exhibited his class, character, ability, power of understanding and love to his children.

We once again pledge our loyalty to the Apostolic Throne of Antioch and to the reigning Patriarch His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas.

September 18, Tuesday: One Day Retreat on 18th September was conducted at Seminary, key notes was given by H. G. Dr Mor  Theophilose Kuriakose Metropolitan and the main speaker for the day was V Rev Fr Baby Cor Episcopa Potharayil.

An Inspiring Event

July 26 Thursday: On July 26^th 2012 H. G. Dr Mor  Theophilose Kuriakose Metropolitan inaugurated the Donation and Sponsoring of books in to library in connection with Birthday of Mr. Jojo Sakariah John , Book received by Dn Aju K Thomas(Students Librarian). V Rev Dr Adai Jacob Cor Episcopa was also present in the Function.

Theological Paper Presentation

August 10, Friday: Theological forum paper presentation was on 10th August; H G Dr. Mor Theophilose Kuriakose Metropolitan was the moderator and Inaugural address by V.Rev Dr Adai Jacob Cor Episcopa and topic presented by: Rev Dr Prince Mannathoor. Rev.Fr.Daniel Thattarayil and Rev.Fr Gregor R Kollanoor were the faculity responds and Dn. Saji Varghese and Dn. Renju kurian was students responds,welcome speech was given by Rev. Fr. Shibu Cherian and Dn Biju Mathew (Secretary) gave the vote of thanks. Rev. Fr. Roy Chacho and V. Rev. Michael Ramban along with Dn Eldhose C U were present in the forum.

Onam Celebration

August 24,Friday: Onam celebration at seminary was on 23^rd and 24th August. Games day inaugurated by V. Rev. Michael Ramban  on 23^rd and there was different  games were organized  and on 24th-- cultural programs inaugurated  by  H. G. Dr Mor Anthimose Matthews Metropolitan and presided by  V.Rev Fr Adai Jacob Cor Episcopa and felicitated V. Rev. Michael Ramban, Prof. Joseph Mattom and Rev. Dn Eldhose C U.  The Main attractions for these two days were Vadam Vali, Maveli & Vaamanan, Pookalam, Pulikalli and Onam sadiya. All the events were under the leadership of Dn Abhilash C Alias (Reesh), Jojo Sakariah John (Asst Reesh), Anish P V (Sports Secretary), Eldho Yohannan Thomas (Arts secretary).

V.Rev Fr Adai Jacob Cor Episcopa gave the Presidential address followed by Inaugural address from H G Dr. Mor Theophilose Kuriakose Metropolitan and also felicitated V. Rev. Michael Ramban, Rev. Fr. M.T.Kuriachan, Prof. Joseph Mattom, Rev. Fr. Gregor R Kollannor and Rev. Dn Eldhose C U. Welcome Speech was given by Dn Abhilash C Alias and concluded the program with Vote of thanks by Eldho Yohannan Thomas.
